The QCA has been formed to facilitate increased community participation in local government by providing an open, democratic forum for the presentation and discussion of major, local government issues. This forum will also be used to gather widely-supported, community recommendations for presentation to our government. The QCA will be open to all residents of Quadra Island and those who own or lease property here. The QCA will remain independent of all other organizations. Further, the association will pursue methods of gathering the widest possible input and will encourage the participation of all the diverse groups and individuals on our island.
